Known bugs:
Quite a few bugs here (no pun intended) :-)
- When a new ball (or a score point) is dropped onto the playing field it takes the form of a red marine. It reverts to a green spike at the beginning of the next players movement phase
This does not hamper play, it is purely a cosmetic problem
- The victory conditions are not implemented because this is a co-op mission, and as such, 1 player cannot win whilst the
other loses (well, actually it can, but don't be awkward). As a result the game will not end when a player has scored 5 points, you'll have to accept this and simply abort the game at this point.
- If a bug enters an area marked with a letter (eg. a scoring zone) that letter will change colour. Again this is cosmetic and has no effect on game play
Distribution:
You may freely use and distribute this map as long as you distribute the zip file (with all four files intact and unaltered)
Last note:
- This was mainly an experiment to see what could be achieved using the Incubation editor.
You'll have to decide for yourself as to whether this game is any fun to play.
- If you've already played this level you may be questioning the fact that one teams bugs have servos
whilst the other teams bugs have heavy armour. This was done so that both sets of bugs have the same movement value (6).
This has no other effect on game play because niether team of bugs has any method of attacking the other.
- I haven't tested this level over a network, but it works in 'instant action' (2 players using one PC).
Let me know if you have any problems running this level on a network.
- If you have comments or suggestions, feel free to send them to me I will
be glad to hear them.

BUG BALL - The Rules/Playing Instructions
- Each team is pre-designed, click on 'deploy units' when you've read the briefing file and then click on the 'end of turn/next turn' button
- Player 1 controls a team of Bea'Coo (purple bugs) and scores by pushing the ball into the northern scoring zone (marked 'B')
- Player 2 controls a team of Bea'Ther (green bugs) and scores by pushing the ball into the southern scoring zone (marked 'A')
- The ball is represented by a green spike (a scanner 'blip')
- The first player to score 5 times is the winner
- Player 1's score is represented by green spikes dropped onto the southern wall
- Player 2's score is represented by green spikes dropped onto the northern wall
- If a bug enters an area marked with a letter it will be destroyed (these areas are the score zones and the ball deployment areas)
- If the ball is pushed against the eastern or western wall it will be destroyed and a new ball is dropped into play
- Each bug carries one-use heavy stimulants
